What's food-sharing?

Food-sharing is an initiative aimed at reducing food waste by rescuing it before it's thrown away. Altogether, around 3000 businesses and 25,000 volunteers are involved in food-sharing.

What is a "FairTeiler"?

A "FairTeiler" is a place where everyone can bring or pick food up for free. "Food-savers" bring food which is still suitable for distribution to the FairTeiler, where it is made available for anyone to take, no strings attached.

What do we do? Our various tasks and activities include:

• running the FairTeiler shop (including cleaning duties)
• complying with legal regulations (local authorities and FHE)
• actively contributing to saving food
• meeting new people and making new contacts

Where can I find the "FairTeiler"?

The FairTeiler is in building 11.
Just go in the main entrance (next to the bike repair shop), turn left and then head straight on until you see our door!
