The student gardens

The idea for the garden originated in a project week supervised by lecturers, in which a garden was designed to make the green campus more attractive, educational and useful for students at FH Erfurt.

With the valuable assistance of our campus gardeners, we were able to do the necessary groundwork to make the area suitable for cultivating plants.

The garden is attractive because it gives students the opportunity to meet students from other courses.

It aims to be educational by involving experts in helping to create a vegetable garden that is as sustainable and ecologically valuable as possible.

It is also particularly useful because the students can harvest the crops they have planted there.
